Review 

What a dark, wicked read.

 Sam basically has it all, with his good looks and his money, nothing is stopping him, until… Then the bodies start showing up.

This book just keeps delivering. I was so caught in Sam’s world, it was hard to stop! This is a wild ride indeed!

Christmas in June

I have a accumulated lot of Washi tape.  Almost all of it was a free prize or came in a kit. I have not been a huge fan of the tape so…I have a good bit of it. I came across a Christmas tree out of Washi tape on Pinterest and thought it would look good on a card. 

It is not half bad!!

Review

Che has had some bad experiences lately. Her mother died and her boyfriend dumped her. At her mother’s last request, she walks the Caterbury trail to spread her mother’s ashes. Che heads to London and on to Canterbury for an experience she will never forget. 

This book really has a lot to say. This is a smart and sometimes quirky read. The characters are many,  but each with different stories to take the reader through a wonderful journey of life lessons. 

I was very impressed with the research the author did to tell this story. I felt like I was walking the Canterbury trail  along with the characters.  Needless to say…that has now been added to my bucket list. 

 This is a book, when you sit down to read it, you look up and you have read 30 pages. Moves very well and is so entertaining it is hard to put it down.

 REVIEW

Well, I have discovered a new author.  I know Anne Perry has been around for a while. I have never picked one of her books up. I will definitely add her to my never ending TBR list. 

This novel grabbed me right off the bat. Sofia is a church reformer and some of her preaching is considered blasphemous.  Pitt is in charge of keeping her safe on English soil.  Sofia is kidnapped and her female disciples  are murdered.  Pitt must find her before Sofia suffers the same fate. 

I was very impressed with the research and the plot of this saga. Anne Perry weaves an intricate tale of family difficulties with a side of murder and mayhem. This story did drag in the middle but, the characters just keep you coming back. And with an ending like this…..you don’t want to miss it.

My first cricut vinyl experience

I am behind. I have never used the cricut vinyl. 

A friend of mine had her initials on her Yeti mug.  Well!!! I had to have mine personalized too!! 

I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge from CTMH. I was very pleased with how it turned out!

 I have an older Cricut expression. So I used a video on You Tube to guide me. I set my needle to 3. I set the other dials to low. This did not work very well.  However, when I set it to multi cut, it was perfect.

Review

Ginny is raised in a tough home. An abusive father and a mentally ill mother lead her to take refuge in an old brownie camera. The  photographs she takes guide her on a path of healing then takes her down a different road of murder. 

The characters and the story kept me reading till the end. There were even places I gasped because of a turn in the story.  It was the middle with the most trouble. 

This novel started off with a bang. I was hooked. Then, it trailed off. I actually started skim in in the middle. There is a good bit of useless information, but, not a bad read at all!!
