I enjoyed how this story unfolded!
Hattie is a fabulous character and she definitely has her secrets. And as these secrets are slowly revealed, you realize what and whom she is protecting! Y’all know I love a book with secrets and this one is full of them. Definitely leads to some second guessing by the reader!
I do not think I have ever read this author. How I have missed him, I will never know. He has quite a few books out there. If they are as good as this one, I need to remedy that quickly.
Emily Sutton-Smith is the narrator of this story and I loved her!
