When I first started this book, I was really enjoying it. It is set in Antarctica, which is an unusual setting. It has quite a bit of science and y’all know I’m a science geek! Even I thought it might have a bit too much science..and that is saying something. It also has a good bit about grief and how it affects and changes your life. But when I got about halfway through the book it just plain got weird. This had such great promise! And I just kept expecting it to get better.
I absolutely loved The Immortalists by this author. It is such a unique and interesting tale. I hate this one did not pan out for me.
