I really enjoy this genre. I love the hunt for historical treasure. As a reader, you learn so much about the history surrounding the treasure and it just opens a whole new world. This novel does just that!
Avery and Carter have been offered a chance to join an expedition. This expedition is in the Antarctica and they are looking for a legendary shipwreck that contains the long-lost crown jewels of Norway. This expedition comes with chilling tales of centuries-old curses and an unsolved murder. This leads them to a more perilous situation than they ever imagined.
There are quite a few things I enjoyed about this novel. I loved the characters, the setting, the science and history. But I especially loved the intensity! This takes you on a wild ride! Not only are they hunting for treasure, they are trying not to get murdered!
The narrator, Alan Carlson, did a great job with all the male voices and the intensity.
