Overview
It’s nice to finally meet you, Jemima, Rebecca Sheridan says, her voice soft. I force a smile, and tug at the hem of my faded black dress. I need this job so badly, but I can’t let her see that. Jemima is trying to make it in the acting world. She just can’t catch a break. So, when she has finally been selected to perform for a different type of show. She jumps at it, even though her inner voice is telling her something is wrong.
Jemima is struggling. She wants this job badly, she needs this job badly. She thinks there is no one who knows her and her past. But the longer she is working for this show and Rebecca, Jemima begins to believe her life is in danger. But why? Oh the secrets!
Now, this tale is a bit slow in places and it’s a bit choppy. But, it is entertaining and kept me listening.
This story is narrated by Josie Charles. Very good job!
