Escapades!

Well! Y’all! I actually ate in two restaurants this month! The excitement abounds!

A friend and I went to Memphis to get some patio furniture…yes we wore our masks. But, my reading chairs in my outdoor reading spot were crumbling. So…you see…there was a sale! I came home with this…

The green one is my new one and it is just heavenly! So, of course we had to eat lunch and we ate at my favorite place..Grisanti . It was divine.

This same friend and I also traveled to the Mississippi Delta to visit McCartys Pottery and Peters Pottery. We ate in the tea room at Mcartys Pottery. If you are not familiar with this pottery, check them out. Their pottery is made from Mississippi mud and I just love it!

Now on to my Escapes!

Escapes!

I don’t think I have ever had a month with so many 5 star reads. It was truly an amazing reading month. The best book of the month…heck the best book of the year is Saving Ruby King.

Saving Ruby King

Little Tea

You Can’t Catch Me

The Last Train to Key West

We Came Here to Shine

The House of Long Ago

Of Literature and Lattes

Lowcountry Boondoggle

Her Last Flight

What book was your favorite of June? Inquiring minds want to know!
