Maggie has fallen for Samir, her best friend’s brother. But, he comes from a different world. He is expected to go back to Lebanon and follow in his father’s footsteps. Samir’s time in London is coming to a close. Can these young lovers survive the consequences if they fight to stay together.

Y’all know I very seldom read a blurb. Well, I should have read this one. I really enjoy this author and I saw her name on this book and jumped at it. This is not exactly what I expected. It is almost a young adult romance.

Y’all take this review with a grain of salt and you read it for yourself! First off, I was not in the mood for a romance! I am a moody reader so there were several places I almost eye-rolled. Also, this is part of a series, I have not read the others in the series and I probably should have before this one! I did not feel very connected to the characters and I wanted them to make better decisions.

I feel like this is a rant but it was just unexpected content for me. And that is on me! And I do enjoy this author, just not this series by her. Read this and form your own opinion.
