I enjoyed the issues brought forth in this book and I admire Darcy and the way she handled them. But then, she has just come back from a nervous breakdown. She struggles to keep it together and does a pretty good job of it. There are many places in this book in which I don’t think I could have kept it together quite as well as Darcy. I might have come unglued on a couple of patrons 😂!
This story takes on book banning, grief, relationships and the importance of a good librarian and library! This tale hit home on several levels.
